Most of the supplied source templates seem to be biased towards the US. It would be nice if a complete set of source templates was provided with the UK edition. For example, a BMD template with fields for the GRO index information. This could then be used where just the index reference is known, as well as where the certificate has been obtained. (The existing templates seem to use certificate number, but this is a pretty meaningless number on a UK certificate - it is the index reference that is required).
It would also be helpful to categorise source templates as the list is quite long, and you don't normally need all of them. If templates could sit in more than one category then even better - show just the UK templates, or show just the BMD templates etc.

Having more specific UK sources is being looked into.

If there was enough interest, these templates could then be passed on for inclusion in the main package.

Perhaps users could post their own templates on this forum somewhere? Maybe there could be a dedicated subgroup?

I quite agree. It would be wonderful to have templates for UK sources. It would also be great to be able to filter out or delete the templates you don't want from the list. There are so many American ones to wade through that it drives me nuts at times!

We can pass the templates on to the creators but as yet a total of 0 templates have been created by forum members.

It would be nice if the community uploaded their own then they can get tested by other users before being passed on.
